Post by satyre »

I am trying to select a 24" LCD monitor but have no clue which one is the best.

Which brand is the best now?

Dell 2407 seems to be the popular choice.

If a HDMI connector interests you the LG 246w and Westinghouse 2410nm seem to be the way to go, but its not hdmi and dvi connectors, its hdmi, with an adapter.

Isn't DELL just labeling their name on someone's product?

Yes, I saw one with HDMI in ViewSonic
ViewSonic X Series VX2435WM Black 24"

http://www.viewsonic.com/products/deskt ... /vx2435wm/

Any comment on it?

Very hard ot make a decision, once I buy one I have to live with it for few years.. so please help me with this..

Any other brands?

Dell's monitors are made with samsung panels and are usually cheaper than the samsung monitors.

In the hardforums displays forum you see alot of talk on the dell 2407, benq 241w, NEC WMGX2(not sure how it compares), and some gateways. They really pick them apart for the qualities of the panels.

Can Samsung T200 LCD Monitor be used as HDTV? Hi, I have recently bought a LCD Monitor wrongly as I actually want a HDTV. So, I would like to ask if this monitor can display high definition programs or maybe just digital programs? Do I need to use an antenna?
