I agree they're incredible shots.
Isn't it ironic how the photographer says he's "pretty safe as long as he's over 300 feet away from the main crater"... While 30+% of entire Europe's flights are cancelled, Germany and the UK have closed their airspace and millions of people are affected.
My father in-law was supposed to fly back to Europe on Sunday, they're trying to reschedule his flight for at least a week later because of all the airport closures.

Nice pics.. I gotta scan my pictures I took of the lava flow in Hawaii. I managed to stand within 1foot of the lava flow while taking a few snap shots before the heat was too much. It was moving kinda slow but still I got enough to show the movement in a matter of seconds. 
edit: I may just pull them out the books and take a picture of the pictures and then post them.
