Well, I just ordered this:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6814102864
Seemed to be a solid card, and I also won't have to upgrade my PSU which is a huge plus.
On a side note, do you recommend any specific drivers?

Thank you for the advice, I think I will hold on until at least March. The main reason I was eager to get a core 216 is because they are sold out most other places and are hard to find.
Another reason I'm wanting to get a new card is BF:BC2, been playing the beta and it's freaking AMAZING. My card ...

Do you foresee a card in the 300 series beating the 260 at a $199 price point?Sava700 wrote:The new cards are going to release very soon... I'd wait.
If not, think I will probably just cave and get the 260.
Any thoughts on this for a PSU?

GTX 260 core 216 on 550W w/ 36A?
Newegg should be getting their new batch of the GTX 260 core 216's in today, and was wondering if it's possible, or if I shouldn't risk it.

Win7 max memory alloc per app
Curious if win7 still has the limit of 2GB physical memory alloc per application, and if so, how to increase that limit?

Raid 0 - Few questions
Greetings, as of late, I've had a bit more $ to put into my box, and I've been considering upscaling to a RAID 0 array.
I've been looking around for a day or two at hard drives that would be ideal for an array. I'm not so much worried about capacity, as I am speed.

Was this a good purchase?
My Antec NeoPower 550W just died last night, managed to pick up BFG 550W GX, for $57 + tax.
Does anyone else here have the same one? I've never owned a BFG PSU before, I've owned one of their video cards (didn't even know they made PSUs until recently).

CPU speed not correctly being detected?
I have Gigabyte EP45-UD3R board and the Wolfdale C2D E8500, my BIOS seems to be correctly picking up the CPU speed at 3.16 GHz - but CPUz is only reporting the core speed as around 1999.7/.8 MHz, is this a detection error with the new Wolfdales and CPU-Z, or is there truly a problem?

I seem to have found a sweet spot for my system considering my CPU is my bottleneck. As you probably know, AoC is a very resource demanding game; but for good reason! AoC is absolutely beautiful, if you haven't seen any content of this title yet, I highly advice you go to gametrailers.com.

:rtfm: Before anything else: Just want to state that I know my CPU is a bottleneck, I plan on getting new mobo and C2D within a few months. :D

I'm new to overclocking, I'm using stock cooling and have been messing around a bit on my card. It seems that if I run the memory past 363/364MHz, I get a lockup. And if I run memory at 360 for over 5 minutes at full load, I get errors(I think it was memory errors and not the core, I was ...

Well, the first thing I've upgraded(or am upgrading) is that x300 SE-HM. I just ordered a x800 from newegg for around $120. Next thing I'm thinking is to upgrade the RAM; the ram I have in right now is 2x512, and I think Nanya is value RAM. I'm looking for some HQ ram...DDR2@667 I think is what my ...
