I just got 100/5 from Shaw and it's pretty awesome also. I get 60-70 Mbps during busy times and 85-95 Mbps when its not. Shaw is redoing the fiber in my area after Christmas which would make it more consistent at all times. Although I can't find a good speed test site, highest test I have ever got ...

Tweaking 100 Mbps connection
I recently signed up for Shaw Nitro in Saskatoon which is 100 Mbps down / 5 Mbps up.
I have XP, Vista & 7 running on 3 separate PC's (upgrades pending).
I am able to download from Usenet (Supernews) at 11.05 MBps (88.4 Mbps). Shaw suggested I run a TCP Optimizer but the one on this site only goes ...

Yes 2 60GB's is a good idea. And for the maximum amount id do there is always 3 40GB's. If your FDisk is not up to date you might have to do so as well.

Uncapping a bought modem.
I have a question and im sure this has been asked before but I wasnt sure what to search for in the Forum Searcher. Ok if I own my own modem and overclock it is it still illegal because it is my own modem. It is no different from upping my MTU its a setting on my own machine.

Hey I am sure you've heard this already but your article on uncapping is a bit out of date and with all this hubbub on your forums about uncapping lately I think you should update your article and explain in more detail the consequences of uncapping now that it is more readily available. I think ...

Anyone think adding a security testing site to Speedguide.net would be good. Sort of like TCP Analyzer but for Security. Perhaps a port checker and some more/less common vulnerabilities. Just an idea.
