Humboldt,I have no children. The herbicide incident I am referring to involves my extremely bitter neighbor who has nothing better to do than scream at the neighborhood children.

Blaming society,or playing the race card in ANY incident like that is laughable. No one but the little bas**** who pulled the trigger is responsible.Let him take responsibility for his action.

His benchmark is low because of the Voodoo 3000 card.If he benchmarked the original TNT,it would be similar. But it would still be better than the Voodoo, because it supports 32bit,and the Voodoo 3000 doesn't.3dmark isn't a commercial for Nvidia-it's just telling him that his card is obsolete, lmao ...

I used to get the same bs o' death.Could never figure out why I would.Last week I ugraded to a new harddrive(reformatted, reinstalled WinSE),updated my flash bios, and put in a brand new power supply. It hasn't happened since.
Not sure if that cured the problem,or if it sneaked off all on it's own, lol.

This is just a possibility, but you may need more memory. When windows runs out of memory,it uses the hard drive.
Have you checked your systems' virtual memory? If it's the default(let windows pick)and you only have 32megs of ram,it will access the HD a lot.
This is only an idea,it's hard to diagnose ...

I go there almost every year to ski.I've been in Denver, and most of the Summit county resorts(Copper Mountain,Breckenridge, etc)and Steamboat.
It's gorgeous country;I plan to retire there eventually.
Altitude can take a while to get used to(this may apply more to the resort areas as they are higher).

Routers and performance?
Question-do routers help performance?I'm getting DSL soon, and I am not going to network(at least not now)and I'm not planning to set up a server.
I've seen a lot of posts that people here use routers instead of software, and I was wondering if it helps speed,or ping times.
Sorry if this is a stupid ...

It SHOULD work, but remember that that will make your entire system FSB run at 100mhz.
I'd consider getting at least 128 megs pc133,and selling or giving away the old ram.Go to www.pricewatch.com you can get pc133 128megs for about $40.

DSL or cable-which is better for gaming?
Next week,I will FINALLY be able to get broadband.I can choose between Earthlink DSL,or Roadrunner cable.
My question is,which would be better for gaming(ping times especially)?
Any help,or comments would be appreciated.Right now I'm considering flipping a coin,lmao.
