DNS Cache???

I read a website states that by adding DNS cache, then IE performance will increase. That website provides me a reg file for d/l, the content of that file is as follows:

Is it true?

... that Microsoft will "attack" the user's computer if it finds out that the OS the user is using is illegal copy ,and making the user's copmuter unstable or need of format?? If so, Win98, ME, 2000, XP included??

IDE LED Problem...

Since I switched from WIN98SE to WIN2000, the IDE LED is always on solidly, no flashing. I didn't make any hardware change or even move a cable inside the case. Anyone knows what happened?? By the way it was a fresh install.

Yeah, both problem solved.

I set TTL to 256 from 128 from 64, now the no problems with the picutures again.

The flashget problem is solved too since I use the tweak, very nice!

I remove the radiate stuff by ad-aware, same Flasget problem. So do you recommend not using Flasget as d/l program? Any alternative?

I use Norton Internet Security, I tried disable it when I view a webpage before but same result.

Yes, in the internet option I did check the "show pictures" option.

Winroute Lite installed, ICQ cannot restart?

After I installed Winroute Lite 4.1, I cannot start ICQ again after closing it. ICQ will crash and cause my computer to hang and restart computer in start menu doesn't work. Have to press restart button to restart computer. Why??

Anyone know how to link up a dreamcast to a pc tp share internet connection?

I think I can do this with a modem, and my connection to internet is cable modem.
I used Winroute Lite 4.1 but was unsuccessful although I can link dreamcast and pc together, but both dreamcast and pc cannot browse internet after linking both together.
Anyone has any idea??

I just bought a new Creative 52x CD Rom drive, the problem is whenever I put a 700MB CDR into it, it becomes extremely noisy. Real huge noise!!! While I put other 650MB CDR or non-CDR there is a little noise only. Is this normal??
