Browsing Problem...
Hi, I have an annoying problem when I use my IE 5.5 to browse the internet. Here is the problem...
Everytime I view the webpage with a lot of pictures, the picutres do not show up that almost every picture has a blank space with a cross sign on it. I have to hit the refresh button many times to make the browser to show a few pictures, then I have to right click and hit "show picture" to each picture in order to show every pictures. Do you guys know how to improve that?? By the way, the pictures here I am saying includes any size, even a icon like picture does not show up in my situation.
Also, do you guys know why every time I use flashget to download many files, every file is not splitted for d/l, 8 files at a time, when flashget is doing its job, even it shares a little bandwidth like 10kbps, I cannot browse any webpage, even a text webpage. Is it normal or can I make some settings to improve it?
My specs here:
Connection speed - Cable modem (Shaw@Home in Vancouver area)
CPU - Amd T-bird 800mhz
Network adapter - D-Link 530TX+
Cable modem - Terayon (don't know the model #)
Motherbroad - ASUS A7V
Memory - Micron 256 cas 2
Video card - Hercules KyroII 64mb
Thanks.

Flashget contains Radiant Spyware/ Adware. This may very well be causing your problems.
FlashGet *Ra
You may want to get a copy of free AdAware and run it to see what all has been altered and possibly remove it from your system.

I don't use any accelerator myself, so I'll let the people who do, recommend something. The return to default patch, will not remove the faster loading of webpages tweak. I'm going to and get you a link to a tiny application that will let you change your TTL. Back in a minute!
Get a free copy of Dr.TCP here.
Once installed, click in the TTL box and try doubling the number there and then hit tab, apply, exit and reboot for the change to take effect.
Be sure your NIC is being displayed in the Adaptor Settings Window!!!!
