I dont worry about the coax cable. APC make the best IMO.

I liek surge protectors that have room for the plugs witht eh fat ends on then so that you dont block 2 other plugs with one of the fat ones.

So what happens if lightnng strikes the house and the coax line is hit? The voltage can and will ...

Do you have the original CDs? The setup files will let you reinstall office if you need to, not important if you have the office CDs, if you dont have the office CDs, then those files become important.

No I dont......wife thought she was doing a good thing by buying a new laptop from a big box ...

When you highlight office set-up it says......

OK theres no system back-up in system tools, but there is a system restore. Is backing up a drive the same as creating a restore point?

Yes I realize this but some of them pop up a warning that this may effect the use of other programs....wish to continue? Thats the problem I dont want to mess up any other programs while uninstalling these ones.

Its a brand new machine and there are all sorts of programs that I dont use nor will I ever. I am unsure if other programs relyon them to operate though.

What is the best, hopefully free, defragger? And what else is recommended to run very week to help mintain my laptops performance?

What about my Laptops performance? I wonder if it needs a deep clean utility insatlled like interneteraserpro, or f it is running efficiantly.

AAARRGGHHH!!!!!

and now everytime I open the internet my web pages recent visited drop down list at the top of IE is empty.....how do I fix these?
