I just got my high speed optimized now I would like my PC to be optimized for speed. What are the steps I need to do?

I know how to create a restore point but am new to XP. Wheres my back-up utility on XP?

OK theres no system back-up in system tools, but there is a system restore. Is backing up a drive the same as creating a restore point?
