Memory issues?
I'm having a bit of a problem here, and I can't seem to figure it out.
I currently run an AMD 1700+ with Windows XP, a 7200 rpm 80gb HD, as well as a gig of PC2100 memory.
When I run KaZaA, my computer dramatically slows down. I'm aware of the fact that KaZaA is a big resource eater, but with 1024 ...

Hehe, maybe you misunderstood my original post....or maybe I didn't make it clear. This is a school-related project...I'm not out to become the entrepreneur of the year.

I know there is a thread that parellels this, but NewEgg seems to be the only name really out there.
Are there any other places that have good, maybe some of the best, prices? (Shipping included) I've seen cheap places that charge outrageous shipping, and vise versa. I'm just looking for where I ...

Hey -
Here's my issue: I have two partitions on one single hard drive. One 40 gb partition with Windows ME (this was what I originally used) and just recently installed Windows XP Home on my second partition. Now I used XP primarily, and I see no reason to ever log onto my Windows ME partition. How ...

A+ Certification
Hey guys-
I've been putting it off for a while, but I decided I'm finally going to take my A+ Cert. exam. Can anyone here who has taken it give me an idea as to how difficult it is, and what areas are heavily stressed? Any links to info. & prep. material would be MUCH appriciated. :)
Thank you.

I don't see any tabs on the top of mine. I simply see a large grey rectangles with the words "Task" and "Status" at the top, and on the bottom, 3 buttons reading End Task, Switch To, and New Task. There are NO TABS.

Stupid question
Here's a stupid problem I'm having, and I'm not quite sure why I can't figure it out. As a new WinXP user, I'm not familiar with everything yet. When I used to press CTRL+ALT+DELETE, I would see a small screen showing CPU Usage (%) and various other info....now when I press it, I only see ...
