E-Commerce

Hi,
I've been looking for some help on this issue, and you all are a pretty knowledgeable pack. ;) Does anyone know where there might be a forum for e-commerce related topics? I'm conducting research on e-commerce (trends, pros & cons, core concepts) and I'd like to find a place to get a few ...

Just for fair warning, pretending to be a supplier or pretending to be interested in purchasing large quantities is considered fraud, and I do believe such misrepresentation of oneself is illegal.

I'm not here to "police" anybody, but I just want to make sure that if you're going to do this, be ...

Thanks for the help, I'm downloading SpyBot right now. Aside from all this, I have a general question....unless you're working with top secret information or doing something really illegal, what's the big deal with spyware? What kind of negative impact could it really have?

In my years of internet usage, I can't say I've ever really gotten a virus. I guess it's just a matter of being careful.

As for the "28,000 files", it's probably a bug...I'm only sharing my music folder.

And if I'm using KaZaA Lite, I shouldn't need to worry too much about spyware, should i?

Well, I deleted KaZaA and downloaded Kazaa Lite. It appears to run smoother.

I have another question now...How important is "participation level?" It says I'm sharing 28,000 files, yet no one is downloading from me, thus my participation level is slowly declining to 0.

To respond to a previous ...

Memory issues?

I'm having a bit of a problem here, and I can't seem to figure it out.

I currently run an AMD 1700+ with Windows XP, a 7200 rpm 80gb HD, as well as a gig of PC2100 memory.

When I run KaZaA, my computer dramatically slows down. I'm aware of the fact that KaZaA is a big resource eater, but with 1024 ...

Sorry if I took this thread where I didn't intend it to go. How about I propose this: If you have any good ideas and you don't mind sharing them, I am open to hear them.

That way, we eliminate the issue of someone worried about another individual "stealing" that's person's idea.

If you're willing ...

I use ECS mobos quite frequently, specifically the K75SA.

1) It's cheap ($53.99 at NewEgg)
2) It supports almost all AMD XP Procs
3) It supports both DDR and SDRAM
4) It has onboard audio and LAN

Granted, if you're big on sound quality, integrated sound isn't what you want, but other than that ...

4. copy wanted data back over to the other partition.
