Ok with that setting I consistently got 6600+ from DC. Im in Ohio. Even Georgia was that fast. I also tried TX and got 6100.

Tweaking my RR!

Is there any changes that could benefit my connection? Im on RR, I honestly dont know what my max download is supposed to be. When I ran a speedtest near me I got 6.5mb/s.

Ok thanks for your help! Every Shields Up and PCFlank test came back as stealthed so I guess im ok. im just paranoid because ZA needed alot more configuring, comodo seems to be a launch and forget type of thing. :thumb:

Ok I got comodo. Seems ok so far, but i have a question. Under application monitor, it has for example firefox.exe and then it says Destination "Any" and Port "Any". Is it supposed to say that? My speed and ZA

When I run speedtests with ZA on full it gives me a really slow speed, like 1000. But if I turn off some of the cookie controls, etc. it gives me a good speed of like 5300 download speed. With those options on, is it really slowing my speed that much or is it just because it doesnt like my ZA ...

Can someone tell me the correct RWIN setting for 5MB down roadrunner? cablenut stops at 3500. thanks

when i did tracert on http://www.speedguide.net it didnt time out but was really slow on hop 7 and sometimes on hop 8. it jumped from 12ms to 150+ms

ive gotten roadrunner and when im playing halflife it lags really bad. it didnt do this on my dads computer and his is way older than mine. im using windows xp home sp2. when i run tracert on some websites sometimes theres a slow response on some hops. sometimes it times out. heres my analyzer:

hiya :D well i have a question. my monitor is starting to spasm! it flickers sometimes and once it even made sounds at me! is my monitor dying? is my refresh rate too high? i used refresh force and it autodetected 120Hz as maximum i could go.

no i have windows XP. i doesnt shut down windows. i thought it would too but i read someone that does that to free some more ram. then to start programs they ctrl-alt-del, click new task, then browse to the .exe file of the program they want to start. for me i browse to eye.exe to start ASE.

is there a way to turn a .exe file into a .zip file? im trying to install detonator drivers 29.42 but theres a problem with the .exe file. it gives me an error. but if i could just get a zip copy i could install it manually. stupid auto installer is giving the problem.
