My speed and ZA
When I run speedtests with ZA on full it gives me a really slow speed, like 1000. But if I turn off some of the cookie controls, etc. it gives me a good speed of like 5300 download speed. With those options on, is it really slowing my speed that much or is it just because it doesnt like my ZA settings?

Ok I got comodo. Seems ok so far, but i have a question. Under application monitor, it has for example firefox.exe and then it says Destination "Any" and Port "Any". Is it supposed to say that? That isnt letting people thru my firewall is it? I have run all the tests at Shields Up and PCFlank and they all say stealthed.
PS On the main screen it says Protection Strength:Excellent.

What that means is unrestricted access into and from the internet by the application (firefox), usually through Port 80. It is stealth to unrequested signals.Vic Mackey wrote:Ok I got comodo. Firewall Penetration tests will show the status of port tested at one of these:Vic Mackey wrote:Ok but does that mean its secure? Am I vunerable?
Open
Closed
Stealth
Stealth is the best as it means the port did not respond to test pings and to the outside world, that port does not exist.
Closed is not as good. It responded to pings and announced that the port exists but is closed. So a hacker can try again and again to open it.
Open is bad as it leaves a door opened into the comp.
So your comp is well protected by Comodo from unrequested signals and the only way in is through unpatched applications.
