OK, thois one has me stumped... I'm trying to set up remote assistants for a budy of mine that I'm building a computer for out of state. He has an AOL Dial up account (#1 problem) and I am on Cable. Both Machines are running WinXP. How do I setup a remote session with his computer. I thought about ...

OK I'm up. I took the router out of line and connected the 4100 to the PC. It didn't work. So I put the router back on.

I reset the SB4100 to clear it's settings out. then shut down everything.

I turned on the Linksys Router First,
Then the SB4100,
Then the PC

Still no good...but.....

I know that when I installed it to satisfy Comcasts request, and to get my MAC and E-mail info that 98se developed a few more bugs. Had a few more three finger solutes then expected (clt-alt-del), but instead of finding out what was wrong, I just formatted the hard drive and re-installed Windows.

I'll try that, who knows might work. If it does work, what would be the problem with the router?

What is the MAC address and why does cloning it in my router matter?

Not gonna be able to help you here, since I'm not installing the software to begin with...
