\_orange -- on my VLAN3
Now, I have my DHCP on my green and not on my DMZ, my 1st 12 ports are VLAN2 from my green on ...

Workgroup issue, something simple but I can`t put my finger on it...
Ok, a bit long winded but bear with me...
I have one of those HDD media players the you plug into your TV and watch stuff you`ve loaded onto the HDD. The Media Player has a LAN port.
I`ve tried a few times to get stuff through the LAN off my server but never had any joy until now.

FreeNAS and IPCop problems, please help
Righty, I`ve been using IPCop and Freenas flawlessly for ages, until recently.
I`m running low on free space on some of my network shares so thought I`d add a new 400GB Seagate into the mix to lighten things up a little.
I installed it but whenever I had this `new` drive in the Freenas box all my ...

OK, well I went for the good old install over the install option!
I know it`s not ideal but it`s only short term (maybe a week or 2)
The good news is, my drives seem ok....well so far anyway. i`m trying to restore to a backup I made a couple months back but for some reason the recovery environment ...

I`ve been playing around with mail servers of late, and have stumbled upon one that was really easy to use, and above all, it worked!
Ability Mail Server is the fella, as found here , and it`s doing quite well!

IPCop with Copfilter...how can I remove Copfilter??
Basically, I`ve had a go with it, and found that even with my better half going online more and more, I don`t need Copfilter.
It never found/removed/quarantined anything, and I just don`t think I need it.
I`d prefer to get rid of it altogether rather than to just disable it.
So, how do I go about ...

I`ve recently acquired one of these from ebay, thought it`d be interesting to play with and with it being a 1U form factor should be pretty neat and tidy.
Anyway, it arrived this morning and as per the auction, it is indeed new...it`s bloody loud, but it`s new!
