Modem Diagnostic test -- Eithernet & DNS#2 Failed

Its a Actiontec C1000A. Century Link is the ISP. It basically seems to work ok. I get the advertised speeds but at times latency may be be an issue. No packet loss to to speak of so I am not sure why these two items failed the diagnostic test. I'm not sure how attach a copy of the test or what other ...

I did not find "remote administration" listed under inbound or outbound but remote assistance is enabled. It was rebooted by Century Link twice. I have not customized any settings on this modem.

I want to buy a 226BW Monitor. My concern is the video card. After opening all modes the monitor resolution needed of 1680 X 1050 is not shown. I've read some FX 5200 cards will work and some won't.

Speed Back

Qwest must have had problems for a few days. As of today my speed is close to what it use to be 1300 down and 780 up.

Question though: I changed MTU back to 1500. Is the network card suppose to be set at 100 full? It use to be set at 10 1/2 mode and my speed use to be faster on the D/L side before ...

It was set at 10, 1/2 mode, I changed it and MTU. It actually slowed down a tiny bit. My D/L speed is at 79.
Any more thoughts? All was well until a couple of days ago and I never changed a thing.

Currently I'm on cox cable. I have tweaked my settings and it works pretty good. I intend to move in the near future but I might have to settle for dial up.

Do I need to delete cable nut? I'm uncertain what I really need to do.

I installed FireFox things changed. My cap is suppose to be 3000/256 or maybe 300. I just did a speed test with an average of 3600/490!
What's happening it seems pretty fast? I see it changed my settings to a fair degree. I'm using Win XP. Here is the analizer results.

All I show is, show small icons in start menu. That box I keep unchecked because it would be to small. Was that your reference? I have no options on task bar icons, just different options on tool bars, and icon size or tool bar size isn't one of them.

I still havent made any registry change. That is part do to what I should add and if I do. I don't understand where the hexidecimal code goes. Regardless my speed is up a tad.
Other than the code, is there an rwin setting between 40880 and 52560. It likes both but not over or under the two numbers ...

I have powered down the modem, actually that is the only way so far it works. I leave it off at night. Like I said it hasn't failed today. I don't have the equipment to test signal strength. The last time here is what the cable guy wrote.
