Modem Diagnostic test -- Eithernet & DNS#2 Failed
Its a Actiontec C1000A. Century Link is the ISP. It basically seems to work ok. I get the advertised speeds but at times latency may be be an issue. No packet loss to to speak of so I am not sure why these two items failed the diagnostic test. I'm not sure how attach a copy of the test or what other ...

My ISP is century link with a C1000a modem/router. I used the TCP optimizer hopefully to improve Steam's CSGO gaming. I tried to login into the modem this morning but I could not because the password was incorrect. It was never changed so I called century link and they could not correct and said ...

but I wanted to have a card sent with the monitor so I would receive them at the same time. I would probably be getting in over my head technical wise anyway. Prefer to stay with Nvidia. Any other suggestions?

Video card help
I want to buy a 226BW Monitor. My concern is the video card. After opening all modes the monitor resolution needed of 1680 X 1050 is not shown. I've read some FX 5200 cards will work and some won't.
What is your opinion on this card? Think it can be used? If not suggest a good card or how about ...

Qwest must have had problems for a few days. As of today my speed is close to what it use to be 1300 down and 780 up.
Question though: I changed MTU back to 1500. Is the network card suppose to be set at 100 full? It use to be set at 10 1/2 mode and my speed use to be faster on the D/L side before ...

Cable to Dial Up
Currently I'm on cox cable. I have tweaked my settings and it works pretty good. I intend to move in the near future but I might have to settle for dial up.
Do I need to delete cable nut? I'm uncertain what I really need to do.
thanks, reeo

I installed FireFox things changed. My cap is suppose to be 3000/256 or maybe 300. I just did a speed test with an average of 3600/490!
What's happening it seems pretty fast? I see it changed my settings to a fair degree. I'm using Win XP. Here is the analizer results.

I still havent made any registry change. That is part do to what I should add and if I do. I don't understand where the hexidecimal code goes. Regardless my speed is up a tad.
Other than the code, is there an rwin setting between 40880 and 52560. It likes both but not over or under the two numbers ...
