We have been upgrading at least every other year.
Got a Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra now.

The lack of micro SD slots seemed like an issue at first.
But my S25 has 512g Storage and my 24 had less...It's unlikely I will run out.

Just looked sitting at 160g/512g

Laser Printers are the best.
Couple years back the Wife found a good deal on a Canon MF242 on Marketplace.

Toner in it lasted for nearly 2 years.

I print a bit more these days. But the thing just works. I hardwired it to the Network. No issues whatsoever.

The Asus 'Router' I have is RT-AX82U
so it's already Wifi6 (AX)

A few years old now but still working well. Just sitting on top of the printer in my office at the house.

Still want to upgrade mine. But I can't get it to make sense.
Since we have no issues whatsoever lol.

Also the only thing using Wifi now is Phones/Tablets/Cameras and the stupid Google Nest thing.
TVs are all hard wired as is my stupid smart speaker/soundbar.

Guessing also having a decent router ...

Spent the night at a Hotel Pre Flight.
Got on the shuttle back to the Hotel. Traffic was moderate in DFW area with just a few slowdowns in usual spot(s). Decent drive back.

Nice setup! A bit of an overkill for just a couple of ethernet runs, heh, you could likely achieve the same without the Cisco switch and just the ports on the Mikrotik.

I have AT&T fiber coming into the house, running Cat5E cable to an upstairs closet, where there is a network panel with Coax ...

I7-3770 upgraded the RAM 32gig and replaced the HDD with an SSD.

Enjoy! Do you do any diving? I don't (can't) scuba anymore (damaged ear drum keeps rupturing when I go below 30'...it can no longer equalize) but I still snorkel free dive..can go down to about 26' til my ear feels it. Anyways, some neat diving areas just off shore....like Cozumel, or ..I forget ...
