So many options.
Where are you currently at/living.?
Where have you been.
What do you enjoy doing/seeing
How much time are you trying to spend there.
I would probably start by searching underrated places for something a bit different that's not necessarily bustling with tourists.
Quick search found this

Wife and I are prolly taking a trip to Germany in Sept
She wants to go to Paris and some other place in France as well.
Traveling?
Re: Traveling?
Paris is very crowded with tourists, the Olympics will be there a the end of July through August, hopefully by September it will slow down a bit. If you go there, I would recommend buying tickets early for musee D'Orsay, it is touristy, smaller than the Louvre, but it has a lot of impressionists' paintings and Rodin statues. Sacre-Cœur and Montmartre are amazing. Southern France, smaller provincial towns and coastal cities like Nice are also great. You have to try some of the wines and cheeses, even if you're not into wine, heh. I like most of southern Europe with its nice Mediterranean weather, culture, food, etc.
I don't get to go often, but I am actually in the EU with the wifey right now, coming back state-side on Sunday.

Re: Traveling?
You mean you don't talk to yourself? I do sometimes, since I like having an intelligent conversation (jk, lol).
