Well, well, well, if it isn't the picture-happy Lobo. Once again he is over-excited about yet another totally unexplained, unduplicated by anyone, totally radical discovery. This time it was a weird reformat/reinstall of Windows that did it. Well this has all kinds of broadband conspiracy theories ...

Yes this is for real... and the best thing is its only $29.95 Canadian (around $20 US) per month. Compared to this all the US service providers are a rip off, if you look at costs and their speed caps. Like what the hell is a 1500/128??? Thats not even worth to call broadband. And I've heard of ...

No it is not a shared connection for the building. Each data jack in an appartment has its own IP and is an individual connection to the ISP. The service is only available in downtown Vancouver. It costs $29.95 per month (canadian dollars) so anly around $20 US or so. Yeah its a hell of a deal. The ...

No no nothing extreme like OC anything here... just a residential fiber optic connection in Vancouver, Canada, plus extreme settings from the CAblenut add-on. The best part is the price $29.95 Canadian per month (only about $20 USD).

Here is another one.

3rd time a charm or whatever the saying is.... Finally! More stable, more speed.

I re-tried all the settings again and this final one gives me 764KB/sec vs default 653 on the same local tucows mirror. The speed is very stable, and its actually faster. I knew it could be done.

Thanks a lot ...

Thanks again - the new settings are much better than before, however the speed still drops but this time only by about 100KB/sec on a 22 meg download from a local Tucows mirror.
