Easy CD Creator Platinum Update Problem

I am running Easy Cd Creator 5 Platinum under Win XP Pro. I followed the update instructions on roxio.com but when I try to run the 5.02 update it says that there are no qualified roxio products detected. Therefore the program does not recognize my CDR drive (a newer 24X). Any ideas? Anyone?

5.02 not 4 ex I guess

Did you upgrade or full update to XP? If you upgrade, you need to uninstall and then reinstall 5.0x and then the XP patch for it to work. The patch is not finding the product. It's not looking for your drive. Either way, try uninstalling and then reinstalling.
