Thanks for the replies guys. I got ahold of another working G71-329WM (niece's) and swaped the memory but still have the same issue. Not sure where to go from here. I assume the Motherboard must be damaged.

Hi Humboldt,

I don't think that is the issue since it doesn't use a graphics card. The video is onboard sharing the RAM. Thanks for the suggestion though.

Shouldn't I still see the BIOS bootup screen show even if somehow both the 2GB memory modules went bad in just over a year? I just want to make sure before I have them spend $80 on memory that the screen or motherboard isn't toast.

You would need a programmable keyboard. I use an original version Logitech G15 keyboard that has 18 G keys where you can assign 3 macro's per key. Comes in handy for mainframe programming. I think the newer G15 keyboards only have 12 G keys now.

I use DirecTV and have cable for my internet. I prefer DirecTV because I can put my DirecTV Tivo's on my home network and share recordings between all my units. Also, it gives me the ability to move recordings to my PC.

FYI these are not standard feature's and it requires hacking your units.

I have a friend that is looking to switch from using the onboard video for a Dell Optiplex GX150 mini-tower to a AGP card. The question I have is will any AGP card work or does he need a specific one for a P3 system? I was thinking a recommending this ONE because he wants to use DVI.
