Video Card for P3 Optiplex GX150

Post by DIDS »

I have a friend that is looking to switch from using the onboard video for a Dell Optiplex GX150 mini-tower to a AGP card. The question I have is will any AGP card work or does he need a specific one for a P3 system? I was thinking a recommending this ONE because he wants to use DVI.

Thanks,

Hey Yard,

I haven't seen the PC personally but the online support document shown HERE shows a AGP slot on the mini-tower. Do you think the card I listed will work OK?

Thanks,

Radeon 9000 series card would be peachy for that. You can pick them up used on various FS threads in bigger forums for dollars.

I believe you'll need a "low profile" card...a standard height one will not fit.
