Cox and RR kinda merged about a year ago and both were capped soon after that at 3Mb down and 256Kb up. I was running wide open 'till that happened. :cry: Still pissed at Cox/@Home for that. :mad: I know RR is in Choctaw-close? Both ...

Cookie problems with this board?

My cookie on this board won't update. i.e. the date/time "you last visited" won't update. This happens on BOTH my machines(W95/IE5-W98/IE6). I haven't changed anything and noticed it a couple of days ago. The only way to get the cookie to update is to log-out/log-in and from then on it's stuck on ...

Cox/RR raised my internet 5 bucks/mth.-->

Got a letter from Cox saying my cable modem service will go up $5
next month to $34.95. I have the option to wave the $15/mth. modem rental and just buy that GI3100 for $129. I will pay $10.75/mth. for 1 year and own the modem.
First Cox @home/RR caps my happy ass now they raise my rates. :mad:

How to compute RWIN-->

According to www.dslreports.com -->
"Receive Window should be larger than bandwidth delay product (also known as pipe capacity).

For example, for 170ms delay on a 768Kbps link, RWIN = 768000 bits/sec * 0.170 sec = 130560 bits = 16320 bytes."

What do ya think of that?
