Cookie problems with this board?

Post by martin777 »

My cookie on this board won't update. i.e. the date/time "you last visited" won't update. This happens on BOTH my machines(W95/IE5-W98/IE6). I haven't changed anything and noticed it a couple of days ago. The only way to get the cookie to update is to log-out/log-in and from then on it's stuck on the last time I logged in. And yes-I've double checked my profile/options.
Anyone else having cookie problems?

Hi martin777

Nice to meet you

Silly thought, but have you tried deleting your SG Cookies and allowing new ones.

They can become corrupted i believe sometimes.

Worth a shot if you have not already done so.

regards

Cookies don't update on my 2 machines(RR cable), a friends at work(wireless broadband) and on a couple of @home machines.
I'll be dammed if I know what's going on. It also happens on another BB I'm on! Guess I've pissed off the cookie gods-huh?
Oh-and yes I've deleted cookies till I'm sick. Logging out/in seems to be the only way to get a fresh cookie. This reply didn't EVEN get me a new one!

Hi martin777

Another silly thought, but hey what the heck.

Are you sure your Cookies are Enabled

In Browser go to Tools,Inernet Options, Security, Custom level & scroll down till you see Cookies

Button Enable - Allow cookies that are stored

" " - " Per Session Cooki

Your no doubt way beyond this, but a thought.

If nothing else it will boot you up a bit for someone else to see who possibly can help further

Take care
