TCP Optimizer version 3.0.4 released (improved international Windows support)
We've released TCP Optimizer version 3.0.4 today, improving the support for internationalized versions of Windows 7/Vista/2008. As with all 3.x versions the software supports all Windows OSes from Windows 9x to the latest Windows 7 release in both x86 and x64 variants.
This version 3.0.4 is now the latest stable release.
It can be downloaded from the same location as previous releases:

Please post bug reports, comments and feedback about the release in this thread.
For any personal questions, help with tuning your connection, please start a new thread with your current settings and enough information so we can help you.
The online documentation is not yet updated with all new settings, but available here: TCP Optimizer Documentation
The documentation includes a changelog as well.
Changes:
- improved international Windows support. Program should now read netsh settings correctly for many languages.
- minor internal improvements
You can view previous updates and past issues with the program in the following threads:
version 3.0.3
version 3.0.2
version 3.0/3.0.1
version 2.0.3
version 2.0.2 final version 2.0.2 RC2 version 2.0.2 RC1 version 2.0.2 beta
version 2.0.1 final
version 2.0.0 final version 2 beta
Feedback:
Please post any constructive feedback and bug reports in this thread. We'd especially like to know if you're running an international version of Windows whether the current netsh settings (General tab) are correctly recognized by the program with the new version.
Note: Any posts asking questions about how to tweak your internet connection using the Optimizer should be posted in a separate thread, and will be deleted or moved from this thread.

TCP Oprimiser is being detected as a malware
Hello,
I downloaded the latest version for my Win7 64bit and optimised the internet speed.
Later, when I scanned the computer with System Protector, it detected this new program as a malware.adrenalin.a and in addition, their malware center has a dedicated page explaining characteristics of this malware, the file properties, behavior and registry properties. TCP optimiser figures out clearly in their explanation process.
I scanned the TCP optimiser.exe with McAfee, Avast, Malwarebytes and Bitdefender and all turned negative.
Please advice.

I still have the same problem with 3.0.4. It severely limits my download speed.
Speedtest.net test using :
3.0.4 Optimized settings : 0.44 Mbps
2.0.3 Optimized settings : 3.54 Mbps
It's a 4mbit adsl connection.
I'm currently using Windows 2003 Enterprise SP2 - English version.
I also see the same problem on other PC's using Windows XP SP3 - Danish and English versions.
I do not see the problem on Windows 7.

We've released version 3.0.5, fixing a Windows XP/2k issue when choosing to modify "all network adapters" with two advanced settings being set incorrectly as reported here: https://www.speedguide.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=273037
