A SGmember will have heart surgery tomorrow
Let's remember to think of him and, if you pray, to say a prayer for him and his family...
I am sure that he will read this thread and your well wishing will mean a lot to him and perhaps ease some of the tension and stress.
I know that he is scared as anyone would be...
Thanks,
Ken

Correction Update!
I still feel the need to let him know that we are thinking of him...It's not the actual heart surgery tomorrow, though it is a surgical procedure. Tomorrow is only the Heart Cath which will determine how soon this has to be repaired. They will also look for anything else wrong while they have me on the table. (Balloon angioplasty, stent, whatever) The main reason for the Cath is to determine if the regurg is as severe as it is shown on the Doppler Echo Studies. I wanted to set this straight.
I hope to be home tomorrow evening, though they may keep me overnight, also I may not be able to get on the computer tomorrow evening, but I'll let you know whats happening just as soon as I possibly can.
Those that have contributed to his needs, know who he is...
My wife and my prayers are to you, my friend...
I will call his wife tomorrow evening to get a report if he is not capable of letting us know...
Have Faith
My prayer's will be with you and your family
(Ken, thanks for keeping us posted)
God Bless

People will forget what you said... and people will forget what you did... but people will never forget how you made them feel.

Tomorrow is the big day……….you'll be fine!
This procedure has come along way over the past few years, the outcome has a much greater chance for total repair and recovery.
My brother-in-law had this same procedure back in December, he required other surgery the day after the test. His blockage was up to 95% in a couple of arteries, cause for immediate surgery.
With today's advanced Technology he was diagnosed on a Monday, had surgery on Tuesday and came home on Friday. He went back to work on February 11th, two months after his surgery.
You're in good hands and in our prayers, take care and we'll see you when you get feeling a little better.
Good Luck, BMED

Let me add the downhill family for a few prayers....the very best of luck to you.
One more thing...if you get a blonde buxom nurse, don't pinch her, as more than likely, it's really brembo out to have a little fun again.

The tools of conquest do not necessarily come with bombs and explosions and fallout. There are weapons that are simply thoughts, attitudes, and prejudices to be found only in the minds of men. For the record, prejudices can kill and suspicion can destroy and a thoughtless, frightened search for a scapegoat has a fallout all of its own for the children and the children yet unborn and the pity of it is that these things cannot be confined to the Twilight Zone.
Good luck...our thoughts and prayers are with you...I know you'll fly through this procedure. I fully expect you to be back on the boards in a couple of days
God Bless

Thoughts/prayers always. You are one of the strongest people I know and everything is going work out, you'll see.
We're all there right with you. Have a speedy recovery and take care of yourself, lots of rest and we'll see you soon. We'll be waiting right here for you.
See you soon
