Good News!

Post by Ken »

I just got off of the phone with our friends wife.
She brought him home a half hour ago, and he is doing good.
As well as can be expected...

Now, the diagnosis....

He has a blood clot inside of his heart and the Aorta valve must be removed/repaired/rebuilt...

She does not have a date for the major operation yet. She should know by tomorrow...

She also said to say thanks to everyone for their thoughts, prayers and kindness! :)

Hi Ken

That's Great News. Now that they know what the problem is, the fix should go quick and easy.

A big relief for the Family i'm sure. Rest well my Friend.

Thanks for the feedback, Ken.

I have two friends that have had similar repairs. Both successful but different and it gave them something to talk about. "Mine's a pig valve. What's yours?" "It's a ping-pong ball. Can you hear it?"

It's not fun. It's serious stuff, but it can make a dramatic improvement in a person's lifestyle.

I look forward to seeing him back on SG soon.
