Your speedtest shows very high latency values. Do this nitro test and post the report under the 'Statistics' button:

"Other network traffic" means something in your comp is causing background traffic during the testing. Scan for possible spyware/malware.

Round trip time in the US is usually 90-130ms, and yours is a little high. Your latency to Toronto is very high at 846ms.

What kind of firewall and antivirus are you using?

If your PC-Cillin has a built-in firewall, turn off Windows Firewall.

Turn off your router and connect your comp directly to the modem by cable and test your speed. This is to eliminate any cause for slow speed at the Nic or router.

Everything it said was already done to my cable modem.

Even though im not directly connected to the router but to the switch...You think other people besides my Sisters Laptop and my nintendo wii are limiting my network.,My sisters laptop and the Nintendo wii are the only Mac Addressed i allowed to use my wireless internet. Or is it a Cable Modem problem.

The nitro test did report "other network traffic' limiting your speed. If you are testing your comp while some other comp or device is also using the internet line, the total bandwidth will be shared among the connected devices.

For this reason, I proposed to connect your comp directly to the modem so that it is the only device using the line and be able to find out if it can achieve optimum speed, thus eliminating factors from router, switch and other devices.

How about connecting your modem to the NetGear Switch, bypassing the router?

When i bypassed my Router and used the switch and cable modem. it still said Limited or no Connectivity.

I got rid of all the Spyware and Virus i found. And one time it said that my connection was limited 6%. I did it again and it went back up to 99%.

This is really what im getting when i download something.

Let's try bypassing the switch by connecting your comp to the router using a cable. Do some speedtests and a tracert.

Downstream Value
Frequency 555000000 Hz Locked
Signal to Noise Ratio 37 dB
Power Level -1 dBmV
The Downstream Power Level reading is a snapshot taken at the time this page was requested. Please Reload/Refresh this Page for a new reading

Upstream
Value
Channel ID 4
Frequency 24208000 Hz Ranged
Power Level 48 dBmV

I cleared the Log this morning. But it had a lot of Failure stuff in it.

I can post some of the stuff as soon as the log starts to fill up

I do not see any problem with power levels and SNR in your cable log.

Check your cable lines and splitter that connects to the cable modem for possible bad connection. Are you staying in a house or condo?

Are there any other electrical devices placed near to your modem? Any cordless phone nearby?

I have my Modem, next to it is a Stack of Blank CDs and DVDs then next to that is the Switch, and next to the Switch is the Router. all on a shelf. And right under the shelf beneath the modem is my tower....thats about everything that close to it. or within 5ft.

I am trying to think for a possible cause for this in your nitro report:

"There were 43 packets retransmitted, 176 duplicate acks received, and 143 SACK blocks received"

These are usually associated with lost or damaged data packets. If your cables are new, what about your splitter?

That's the little box that splits the cable into 2 lines: one to your TV and the other to your cable modem.
