Is there ANYONE working delivery joints with a goddamned brain in their head?

"No. Mayo."

She repeats it to me. "Blah blah sandwich, no mayo."

I say, "Yes, please, no mayo."

Sandwiches arrive, I'm off in another office. Driver has already left.

My sandwich is slathered in ****ING MAYO...so drenched in it that it's not possible to perform a sauce-scrape on it without it completely falling apart.

The order receipt says in all caps, NO MAYO.

Yeah, there are children in sub-Saharan Africa who are starving, and I'm an a-hole for caring so much. But I ****ING HATE MAYONNAISE. Just seeing it makes me nauseous.

There isn't a word of that I can argue with. I hate mayo.

So do you, especially it's Alfredo. Or from a guy named Alfredo.

8.4 point for the rant.

The service industry as a whole has gotten terrible especially over the last ten years. I would be willing to bet that 1/3 of the time we eat out there is a mistake in our order, or the quality of the food and service sucks. I rarely eat out or order out anymore.

Ooof, I'd wither up to a crisp without mayo, I drown my fries in the stuff. It's my worst food eating habit by a long ways tho.

I guess beets and lima beans are about the only normal food items I'll turn down even when hungry.

I hate people that can't get an order right. That aggravates me to no end. If I say don't put a friggin pickle on my sandwich and they do it anyway and my sandwich smells like pickle..I send it back.

I'd call them and send it right back. Delivery guy will be the pissed off one and tell them off since he gets no tip the 2nd time around.

I don't mind mayo, but I can sure sympathize with your rant about the service industry Burke ...

I'm with ya Burke...mayo is gross as hell.
Bad thing is you can't call back and have them bring you another sandwich cuz it will have a secret sauce on it then :(

Burke..no mayo for this guy either. Roast beef? Onions, a "little" Miracle Whip and a bit of horseradish.

I rarely eat at chain establishments...i like the 'mom and pop' places where the people that run the place are also the owners. You tend to get a better overall dining experience.

I might even go 9.0 for the rant...short but to the point.

I never go to chain restaurants. I stay with the mom and pop style places myself.

ever wondered if they slapped a handful of mayo on your sandwich, on purpose?
Not a mistake?

Maybe they aren't imcompetent, but vengeful?
