Alright lets try XFire list again

Post by YeOldeStonecat »

Yeah yeah yeah, I'm sure this thread has passed through before at least once. The only one I could find was a few weeks ago, and not that complete, so since I'm going to try to start using XFire, lets "roll call" again.

Maybe we can start finding each online, and try the concept of playing on the same server. Hey, I know of one!

Well, you can guess my name! :D

There are a few of us that use it everytime we play i reccomend that we all run xfire its the best way to play games online and get peep in the server.

run this program in your startup!

I enjoy killing my friends, so ahall you!

fire up the xfire!

I was going to post a link to that thread, but the SG search results for "bullsh|t" were too numerous

sometimes you have to think outside the box to get inside the box ;).

Every normal man must be tempted at times, to spit on his hands, hoist the black flag, and begin slitting throats.
I often wonder if the voices in my head ever get frustrated because I'm just too damn lazy to climb that clock tower.

SWB and Xfire

Post by Joint Chiefs of Staff »

As you may or may not know Star Wars Battlefront has been added to Xfire's games list.

If you haven't already click on tools>find installed games, do so now. Once that is complete you should see the SWB icon available.

To add a server to favorites....

Click on Tools>Installed custom server to Favorites

In this case I'm using SG 69.24.42.69 Port 15567 It will add the server to your favorite server list in Xfire. Double click the SWB icon in your favorites and you should load right in. I've tried it a few times without a hitch, no more screwing around with the lan menu. Now to test people following a person into the server using Xfire.

Works like a charm not having to use the lan menu. However, I was discoed between map loads a few times. :(
