What's difference btw DVD+R/RW and DVD-R/RW

What's difference btw DVD+R/RW and DVD-R/RW

I see some drives are DVD+R/RW and soms are DVD-R/RW. Today from ComUSA, I see Mad Dog Dominator 12x4x8 DVD+-R/RW Drive. What's different.
