He lived to be 93 and made it to the presidency as well, no reason to be sad.

Reagan's body was expected to be taken to his presidential library and museum in Simi Valley, Calif., and then flown to Washington to lie in state in the Capitol Rotunda. His funeral was expected to be at the National Cathedral, an event likely to draw world leaders. The body was to be returned to California for a sunset burial at his library.

President Ronald Reagan served His Country & the World well.

He enjoyed a full life, filled with many accomplishments and will be thought kindly of by most, if not all, who cared for Freedom.

Well done Mr. President :thumb:

He was intrumental in rebuilding the military that I enjoy today. He took the "Hollow Force" of the mid to late '70's and built it into the force that broke the USSR's back and sent Saddam back to Iraq. :2cool:

Regan was a great man. With strongly held convictions that I believe are absent in today's leaders.

RIP :(

I liked him back then, and I miss him now...
He did what he said, and didn't take no B.S. from anyone
(remember that news reporter that he told to "just shut up")

I hope he is finally is at peace,
after that long battle with Alzheimer's Disease...

He is in a much better place now. Alzheimer is a horrible disease. IMO he has been dead a long time now, now he is free finally.

He was a great President, and a great man.

:( I'm not one who really follows or even gives a whisker of a hoot about politics...but growing up under the Reagan years, I sure respected the man. And I believe what he did for America was good.

What a fantastic life he had. And a long tough ending.

I was in college during his presidency. It is no surprise that I thoroughly detested his policies. However, Reagan was a fine man with an excellent sense of humor, brilliant communication skills and a great ability in assigning tasks to his advisors. If nothing else, he had Americans holding their heads high after years of of embarassment with Vietnam, Watergate and malaise.

Rest in peace, President Reagan

I do not want to wage war against what is ugly. I do not want to accuse; I do not even want to accuse those who accuse. Looking away shall be my only negation. And all in all and on the whole: some day I wish to be only a Yes-sayer.
