I can't seem to find any info. on it but is beef jerky a healthy food and if so, even for diabetics?

As far as the beef jerkey being healthy... I don't think so... unless it is homemade stuff even then... Alot of preservatives and extra crap they throw in that stuff you know...


As for being healthy for diabetics, it really depends on what is in it and what kind of diabetic you are.

It only has 2g of sugar. I think it's a winner.

I'm tired of eating on the road. It's hard enough just to eat right out here and even harder to find some you like that's healthy.

My doctor said if it tastes good, you can't have it. :(

I have a blood sugar imbalance, whenever I eat beef jerky it gives me energy like instantly.

Good as far as I'm concerned... low carbs, low fat, only thing that is up there is the sodium.

2 years ago almost 3. I began to get really irritable then my wife took me to the doctors.

I am VERY irritable lately.... and eating certain foods gives me like a rush almost. I hope I am not diabetic.. ahh... I have a doctor's appt on monday I'm gonna ask him about it.
