Hmm so is Pentium D crap like celeron?Also what would a 2.2 or 2.4 intel duo do me any justice in games like bf2 ?Its been a while since I have updated my comp so I'm a complete noob to the duo processors.

New Gaming PC

I need some advice on what processor I should buy for a gaming rig.I 'm currently using a 2.8ht intel.I think I'm going to switch to AMD which I don't know much about. I don't want to spend alot on the cpu but I want something to run my games w/ no problems.Thanks for any advice.

My ISP is just really bad ..They fixed some things but ping still jumps from 60-500..The head guy came out & couldn't figure it out.I did get them to switch it back to router ...I'm also running a gig ram ....So after 2 yrs of this my ISP cringes when I call..When this contract is up I'm switching ...

Yes everything it is working even reinstalled all soundcard drivers...My soundcard crashed the other day I'll just try the stick out on a friend's comp I guess... thanks for your help anyway

I installed the drivers from Logitech site .....Went to the control panel but it's saying that the stick isn't connected .....Maybe the joystick is broken?

joystick gameport problems

I'm a noob to using gameport plug ins...I have a Logitech wingman extreme & soundblaster 5.1 live w/ gameport...I can't get the gameport to pick up the joystick...Is there something I'm doing wrong or do I have to get an usb adapter ?
