help me. i can access with other pc i see other pc but when i open one workgroup ...i cannot access.. can u help me how to share pc to other pc...

I need to know any good nic settings for 3com EthrLink 10/100 PCI NIC (3C905B-TX). Can someone suggest w/c to enable or disable... I'm on sDSL 256/256, Windows NT 4 ws w/ Wingate as proxy.

I need to render a workgroup invisible or inaccessible from other computers on the network.
The scenario is that my neighbor wants to connect his pc in our lan... and i dont want him to see the rest of our workgroups (just view his), is that possible?

is there a tweak to lessen too much waiting? it takes about 10 secs before the page begins to load.
i know it's not a dns issue bec the "Finding Site" only takes less than a second.
any good cablenut settings suggestions or any related tweaks would be highly appreciated. i'm on sdsl 256/256 ...
