you should select extreme for the tcp/ip optimizer, after you select your network card, then hit optimal settings at the bottom.. and then hit apply. Then restart... and you should see a big difference in the speed based on what your analyzer results were before as you showed us. The settings might ...

try unplugging yoruself from the connection temporarily just to see if you can go to your registry where the keys are located.. and see if they're different when you aren't connected. If they are, that means that your connection is limited to certain settings and you can't change them, but it would ...

if you have cap rates of 512/128, you should download at around 60 KB's, and upload at around 16 KB's. Using P2P programs like mIRC, alot of people might be downloading off the same person at the same time... therefore slowing down your end of the download just b/c others are downloading from the ...

i have AT&T as well, and i have 1500/300 download/upload cap rates. I guess i'm just lucky!!! that's what people have in my area i guess. well.. the security router is based on DHCP routing.. it uses 8 ports for lan use.. um.. you can port forward and DMZ host 1 computer at a time, and a couple other things.. it's over 1 year old so it's not up to date with some of the newer ones that may have more features.. but basically i don't ...

don't have a router hooked into another router, what's the purpose of that? I would hook a switch or a hub into the router that just forwards more lan ports to the router. Hooking one or more routers into a router that's hooked to the modem directly could cause you to run into some configuration ...

Anyone recieving falsified data on Analyzer?
I use a Netgear cable/dsl security router RO318, 8 ports. When i tweak my settings under windows ME, everything comes out right EXCEPT for the RWIN. No matter what i change it too, it always shows up differently in the analyzer so although it says the setting that i made in the registry correct, it ...

yes.. pretty much the only way is to lower your RWIN, and you can go about doing that by reading up in the TWEAKING Forum. First download TCPoptimizer on the front page of http://www.speedguide.net , and you can see your Current Settings, on the comps your want to lower the bandwidth of. Then choose ...

i think i noticed something similar to your problem at hand. On AIM, i haven't been able to connect to other AT&T users for a while.
