Hi,
I had experienced a considerable increase in my upload speed over the last couple days. (from 14kbps to 28kbps) The upload speed, however, reduced to 18kbps tonight.. I was wondering if this is because of the normal nine o'clock traffic or has AT&T reduced the cap once again? ppl living in the midwest.. pls let me know of your upsteam speed.

Welcome to Speed Guide. I think it's a little of both. I've noticed my cap (depending on the day of the week) go from 125 to 265. I think ATTBI is playing with some settings... finding the right balance before they set it in stone.
In addition... lots of user activity as of late that affects speeds.

i live in massachusetts, and I've had AT&T for about 4 - 5 years now, i love it, so reliable, doesn't go down at all if any. It only was screwy for a week once cause they were switching servers or something or fixing them. Anyways, my caps are 1500/300, but i usually get around 292 kbits on the upload which is still pretty good. I would really be annoyed if they reduced that, cause i'm a big fan of P2P transfering of data and that would slow me down considerably. I hope they offer tiered services soon, i wann purchase the 384 or 512 kbit upload cap for a little more money/month. Anyways, i haven't noticed any change in my upload speeds at all lately but i'll make sure of it.
