Have the new cable modem gone to 100/TBase/
I am on roadrunner and went to there new web phone service. They came out and put a new modem in.The cable from the moden to the wan port reads it as a 100/Tbase not the old 10 Tbase. Same thing if I put it in a switch.
Any body know if old 10/T base modems are on it way out.

Are you running any kind of firewall ?But the first thing I would look at is power management( allow the computer to turn off this device to save power)to find this setting and uncheck the box . just go to the computer store and tell them you need a crossover cable to go from the modem to your computer .they should fix you up with what you need.. There are two ways cable end's are put on.
