there is not so much out there in regards to MLPPP and bonding...

Im thinking of a few things but is there anyone here who has actually done this and it really work?

Well what i would like them for is to run some small servers for files and what not when i am out doing jobs. as well as setting up a ftp for sharing my stuff with friends.

this would only be temporary anyways....but yes you are correct it would be alot more secure....

well they way we were going to do it is that we consult and either they pick up the hardware or they pay us cash upfront for the hardware and we bring it to the job site.

we also are not going to fish...woudl not even know how to go about it unless they had a tiled celing.....

we were thinking about $35/hr canadian.

What do you guys think about that? expensive? would you pay that much?

I used to work for Comcast@home. I was on the desk for level 2 support.

And i will verify that no amounts of complaining will do any good....

What they will do is let thier level one support take care of all complaints and they will tell you that if you want more band you will have to pay.

If you guys do i would love to know what you guys charge and what you do and what you dont do for your customers.

I have 2 pc's that i want to network.

Both need net access threw Bell Sympatico High Speed. One is going to be used only as a ftp server.

I do not have a router and really dont think i need one.

Both have ME installed.

they both are already ...

I have a similar situation only with ME.

I already have my 2 machine netowrked and sharing files. I want to turn my second one into an DEDICATED FTP. How do i do this with me and NO router?
