nic and i havent called them about this particular problem but i have been in contact cobstantly with them about poor performance

we signed on oct. 1 and were getting 3000 -5000kbps always even during peak hours but since @home officially declared bancrupcy it has become slower on a dayly basis with pings well over 1000. since mediacom whent with att im sure our service wioll probably be crummy after the switchover!!!!!!!!!!!!

http://www.comcast.com/ go to this website and you will see 1500k download advertized. dont feel bad mediacom promised the same high speed connection in there 1st email and now they email us and tell us we are going to be capped.

sometimes pings and trasce routes are good last night everything was swmokin!!!!!!!! now here is a trace route from tonight everything is working like dialup when this happens is mediacom doing something with there conversion???

I'm uploading at about 125kbytes/sec with my new optonline, which is REALLY nice. I'm downloading at about 400-500. I know optonline advertises more than that. I dont want to sound like im complaining, but does anyone know any tweaks that can help me get more out of my cable service?

what do you mean repush the modem????????? also they dont have a problem sending a truck the problem is the people they send never check anything!!!! packet loss today 33 percent 1st and 100 percent 2nd hop

comcast did not buy mediacom they are switching to there own system last of january. they are going to use att worldnets backbone and are not going to be affiliated with att broudband in any way

when i turn of proxy at night is speeds things up but in the daytime it slows things down with the proxy off. what about the big packet loss on the 1st 2 hops??? so you think it may just be the @home prob. at night and not a local cable prob.?? i will be glad in a few days we switch to own system ...
