If you do a search in google on:

Critical H501.4 HFC: LOST TRC SYNC- trying

You'll see that many people with the same problem point to the modem or to the USB. Do you have a USB or a NIC? What modem are you running and is it old or new?

USB or NIC? Have you called your provider yet?

nic and i havent called them about this particular problem but i have been in contact cobstantly with them about poor performance
