I used the optimal settings provided by speedguide to try to boost my internet speeds but it only made things worse. I had a good setting b4 but i had to format my hard drive so i lost them. I would adjust the settings myself, but i dont have a clue as to what to set things to. So can some1 help me ...

y hav to get v3_hoe_v1.0_winxp driver. search the net if u cant find it, i hav the file and i can give it to u somehow but u gotta tell me how maybe e-mail. oh yea if u do find it u hav to unistall ur old drivers, then update to win 2k drivers, then install hoe driver. good luck

For my LAN settings in winXp, is it better to hav the box next to "Auotmatically detect settings" checked or un-checked? whats the difference? I have cable.

Well i went and tested my connection speed at about 10 other sites and got close to the same results. How is it that they r all inaccurate? Also im using cablenut. i used the default w2k fast file, im using winXP. So can u tell me where i can get an accurate reading from?

i just tested my upload and download speeds. it was tested with a 1MB file. my download speed was great at 3.200Mbps. However, my upload speed was terrible at 0.112Mbps.
