well these cards can be pretty expensive anywhere from 200 to over 1000 but if you wanted two of them seeing they are used you can have them for 100 bux with cable, and yes you can run a local loop with out using a hub. I used a hub, but i no longer have it.

Stuff For Sale

i have a Smart-UPS 1400 APC its a rack mount but it needs a battery. I also have 6 PCI fibre networking cards and 3 mac fibre networking cards and fibre cable to go with them. Everything was working when taken out of use, but no longer need these items because i upgraded to a wireless network ...

yeah it does on 3 way splitters u lose 7 db compared to 3.5 db on a 2 way.

i have spead up my cable. i have a 2 way spliter one connection is right to my cable and one is to a second splitter for tv and it seems to be spead up. but if i split that connection again between 2 modems and pt it back thorough a nexland load balancer it will go alot fast wont it?

what if i use a 2050mhz spliter in my basement one goes to a second splitter for tv and the other end goes to another 2050 mhz splitter for the modems will that make a differance compared to a 1000mhz splitter

Cable Amps

i have my cable split many times before coming to my modem.

First there is a connector on the side of my house that connects the 2 cables then it goes into a 3 way splitter and after that it goes into a 2 way spliter. I know i need a cable amp or maybe 2.
where should they be placed?

i did this, even though u may have a fair amount of ram... i have a gig or 1024mb but anyway i added 5mb towards the nic and it only improved lan speeds and lagged my comp.
