Where can I find this pic?
I saw a picture online not too long ago. It was a computer mouse with a woman's hand on it, and somehow it looked really dirty, like the woman was touching herself, but it was only the mouse. If anyone has the pic, or a link to it, I'd appreciate it.

We live in a somewhat rural area here, so technology gets here slowly. We have ELN DSL. The only other choice for high speed access is RR. I don't know how it compares in our area, in terms of price, speed, or reliability. I know a friend who has RR. He loves the speed, but says he has problems a ...

I think while I was home, we got like 5 rings, so probably like 10 kids. There may have been more while I was at blockbuster, Kmart, Sonic, or Backyard Burgers, but my parents were here to open the door, so it's all good. It was kind of depressing though. Where I grew up in Ohio, we ran from house ...

I think we pay $39.95 for 512/128 kbps
To go from mega- to kilo-, multiply by 1000. To go from bits to bytes, divide by 8. This works for connection speeds, like megabits per sec, kilobytes per sec, etc. as well as file sizes. So to go from 2 Mbps to kBps, multiply by 1000 and then divide by 8, or ...

I don't really remember, but I think when I got my computer, it was already set up for me. You can check your BIOS settings to make sure it's set for wake on LAN. Aside from that, I don't know. Oh, and make sure that the little power cable thing on the LAN is connected to the motherboard, otherwise ...

Update
Well, I'm all fine now. I talked to a friend, and he told me I'd have to do a low level reformat I believe, or something like that. I guess that means that it doesn't give a crap about how you have it formatted/partitioned, and how they're screwed up, it will just do what you want it to. I ...

I had the same problem about a year ago. I checked the case fan, and that wasn't the problem. I unplugged it, and the noise was still going. I could tell just from where the general area where the sound was coming from was that it wasn't from the PSU. It turns out it was the fan on my video card ...

Aside from the quality issues, the USB NIC should theoretically be fine, since most cable and DSL modems only have a 10 Mbps connection on the LAN side anyway, and furthermore, the fastest connection you'll get on them will probably be significantly less than the 10 Mbps. That means that you should ...

I'm thinking, as long as the ISP you use for your personal connection uses the same, or compatible equipment, the easiest thing to do might be to have the personal DSL connection on one phone line, and the company DSL on another phone line. Then, when you want to switch to your personal account from ...

Go with what YOS said. Your mileage may vary, but I think most ISPs charge about $5/month for an extra IP addess. This is cheaper if you only need to do it for a few months, but in the long run, you'll probably save money by buying a router. And if you get a second IP, you'll still need to buy a hub ...

Correct me if I'm wrong, but what I think you're saying is that your phones are wired with RJ45 cables instead of RJ11, right? But the phones still have RJ11 plugs, like standard phones, right? That probably means that the extra wires are there in the walls, but they aren't connected to the wall ...

Well, without buying a router/hub/switch, you need to buy one more NIC. Put two NICs in one computer, and one in the other. In the one with two NICs, you'll have to install routing software (also called internet connection sharing, or ICS). Then you hook the modem to the computer with two NICs, and ...

Ok, I've given up and have decided to reinstall win2k. I figure I'm going to make the C: partition bigger anyway, so I might as well reformat and repartition. What size should I make the C: partition? I'd like to make it big enough that I can confortably have win2k on it, with a couple users, and ...

I was, but I had no idea what to do from there. I can't uninstall Norton AV or Tiny because they're both on a different drive. My C: drive only has win2k on it, nothing else. My computer gets a stop error when I'm trying to boot up now. I downloaded and installed a DAT file for Norton AV 2001, and then I rebooted my comp, and now it won't boot up. Don't know if the two are related or not, as I've gotten the error before. I think I first started getting the error after I ...

Check out this article on the NY Times: http://www.nytimes.com/2001/10/11/technology/circuits/11RUBI.html It's about a guy who made a Lego robot that can solve a Rubik's Cube (the cube with each face divided into a 3x3 grid, and when solved, each face is a different color). The robot holds an actual ...
