Raid Failure 8k7a+

My RAID Hard disks went bad and I made a backup using Norton Ghost. All 3 are IBM Deskstar 40 GB. Now when booting and running off the backup ( on one drive) everything is jerky and slow. The mouse and the programs all move much slower. Anyone know what I can do to fix this?

Thanks,
ned

Thanks for the reply Lobo,

I'm on Windows 98 and using Netscape 4.77. I just spoke to my ISP (roadrunner) and he changed some connection arrangement. He thought it might be more efficient. I haven't had time to really test it to see if it's any better.

Would it help to see the results from the TCP ...

I highly recommend the IBM 45G Deskstar. I bought one 1/31/01 for $150 +$~11 Shipping. Prices fluctuate. Check out www.Pricewatch.com and http://www.resellerratings.com/
for ratings of vendors.

The HD is very fast and very quiet.
Check out IBM's site for help installing:

Thanks GLC for the reply. My IP's are assigned by RoadRunner and I have tried both options on the TCP IP Properties tab, i.e., assigning the IP and Obtain automatically.
