I would like to know about all your systems, and type of clients on each systems.

I have 5 9800 GX2s, but 1/2 card has died in each 2 GX2s in one AMD Quad system, plus 1/2 card died with one of 2 GX2s on my other AMD Quad ...

I have no problem running 5 SMP Clients, on my 2 quads and 1 dual AMD CPUs along with my 5 Nvidia 9800 GX2s GPU Clients now. I had at the beginning when the SMP Clients first came out, but not for a long time now.

It has been confirmed by Sony, a price drop for the PS3 to $299. The PS3 Slim will come out in September, and will run cooler and with less power, with a 120MB hard drive.

Hi Joecool, I should pass you up in a month or so. I have 3 pcs running now with 12 clients running. It's hot in my apartment and the CPUs are close to the max temps that they should be run with. Waiting for much cooler weather to fire up the 5 PS3s.

I had to shut down my 5 PS3s and 1 quad and 3 dual desktop computers because of the heat issues and ac power bills. So I'm only running my fastest quad with 4 gpu clients.

Hmm? Not good. My two cards are sitting too close together. The upper one has little to no air flow. :(

I put my finger on it and it's getting hotter than the other two. I'm not going to chance it, I need to pick up a single slot version GPU to allow for more air flow.

Yeah, I am already planning to get my ppd up a little since you are gonna be a threat. I have two systems that are not folding stable right now, will work on that. And I can get another 5k per day out of one box if I get my video card driver issues sorted.

No coiled cables or power cords. All cables drop along the floor, then back up to Router/Network switch, with no loops.

The 2nd hop is the ping from comp to the modem part.

I received a new 2Wire ADSL Wireless Gateway/Modem. The old Modem was a Wireless Westell VersaLink 327.

I still have the 2nd hop losing the packet with the new 2Wire ADSL Wireless Gateway/Modem.

Could this be a problem with my built-in on board ...

All I did when I received my first PS3 for the Internet, was connect a R-45 network cable to my DSL Wireless Gateway /4port router connection, with an 8 port network switch. All 3 of my PS3 had no problem connecting to the router/switch and connecting to the Internet ...

I put it this way, Folding is a natural behviour of large molecules. The exact way the molecule folds can determine much of its chemical behaviour. In biology this is critical. We are helping to study the shape of the folded molecules.

Ok trogers, I did try one other computer in my LAN network before you suggested it, and I had the same packet loss in hop 2, so I will assume that it is happening with all of my computers in the LAN. I have 3 PS3 in my LAN running Folding@home 24/7, so I can't check them.

I have already tried that. I have brand new CAT6 cable on most of my 8 computers in my network, and change out with a new one on my server to make double sure.

The second hop is to Bell South's DSL Fastaccess.com. It is a problem with BS/ATT, and they don't want to admit it.
