I'm looking for a fix as well. Its kind of annoying to know my computer can get better latency but for some reason it just isn't.
I'm going to keep digging though and if i find anything i'll hopefully remember to post my findings here.
I mean my latency isn't bad or anything, but the game just ...

Thanks for the responses guys, but I think it was a combo of the modem being crappy and my line giving out. I guess the other techs did more of a quick fix whenever they did something with my line as opposed to a long term fix. The tech that came out yesterday looked at my line and said screw it, he ...

Random disconnects, is my modem dying?
Lately for the past several weeks i've noticed my latency shoot up while I play my World of Warcraft, and sometimes it would actually disconnect.

Linksys BEFSR41 lag problems
I have a feeling that my type of router i've been using is the cause of most of the lag i've been having to deal with. I've tried connecting my internet directly to my modem, but everything seems to work fine. Then I hook up the router back up and the problems start again.
