My normal Barton 2500+ (333) runns great @3000+ (400) speeds with 1,47V .... Where is the big deal ???

A small stripe of black tape will serve me well ... I can hear a little rattering ... will keep me knowing if the machine is hang up or not!!!

The thing is that the mobo and case is manufactured by shuttle - all cable (Power, usb, firewire and leds) are plugged in! ...

And BaLa it is not supposed to be b/c a friend of mine got the same BB just a week earlier and the HDD LED was functionally as it supposed to be: ON if traffiv and OFF if idle!

I got this fine Shullte SN45G with a XP2500+@3000+ (400) and a NV5900XT

My prob is that the HDD LED is permanent enlighted and with HD traffic it goes brighter... Changing + and - in any possible setting won´t have helped!

What is to do next? Behind the front panel I have no access! The permant ...

ABIT "nf7-s v2.0" has everything you want beside GBit LAN!

AGP/PCI freq is locked if overclocked my AMD Barton 2500+ is unlocked sothat I can choose (!!!) 2500+ or (!!!) 3200+ in a small list.

Dividing FSB/DDR goes until 1:6 a lot of space to play...

Very good board. If you won´t want sata raid ...

Got mine 9500pro in time where 9500pro and 9700pro were in the market!!!

I saw PowerColor selling a Radeon 9700Pro 128MB RT but a little more than 100 U$D.

btw: the €/$ ratio is really bad ... not for me just for you thats why I can´t get a "real" price it is not like a year ago ~1:1

Against all I deceided the nvida!
I will put my 9500pro in my 2nd comp and sell the TI4200 for 70-80€ and power my main rig up with the 5900XT ... oc like 500/800 and nearly have a 5900 ... ATI power will remain in my 2nd rig! I trust nvidia more than ATI.

ATI makes awesome cards but the 5900XT ...

I read a lot of stuff about ATI and nvidia! BUT I never saw a direct competition between ATI 9800pro 128MB and nvidia 5900XT 128MB

256bit mem, fast ram and same price is what I found out.

Models are:
- MSI FX5900XT VTD 128MB Retail
- SAPPHIRE Radeon 9800PRO 128MB Retail

I bumped my Barton XP2500+ to a XP3200+ with 400 fsb and noticed no increase...

The main thing is "to have" it *loool* :p

I play with buying the Athlon 64 XP3200+ (2GHz and 1MB cache) with the ASUS Mobo KT800 but where to with my old stuff ?!? Selling it on ebay is a waste of money because ...

I drove the 231hp machine... 235kph with winter-tires on it *loool* they are certificated till 210kph *uuuuppps* ;) the 9000rpm sounds like HELL a little ferrari!

I deceided to get the "lower" version 192hp is OK! At the moment I drive a VW ...
