I had an 7 year old root canal get infected because
there was a microscopic canal that was not
noticed. Worse pain I ever had. Seems if the
abcess moves to the blood stream, it can also severely
damage your heart. Tylenol 3 had absolutely no effect.
Percocet was about 40% effective for the pain ...

I ask for the bite block, even just for fillings

It is a rubber wedge they place on the opposite side of your mouth to
help keep your mouth open, otherwise I get a bad cramp in my jaw muscles in less than 5 minutes. Works great, they have different sizes. A crown takes 2-3 hours, and you gotta go ...

Dental Insurance here in Canada usually pay 50% of crowns and root canals. They usually run between $500-$600 each. So I pay half of that. I have found the dentist will allow payments over a few months to settle the bill.

Guess the first step is to see what the dentist needs to do to fix your tooth.

It can get worse

If the nerve is exposed, then you need a root canal
before the crown. You can put it off, but it does not go away,
only gets worse.

Been there, done that!

Try your camera on a different PC
If it works, that eliminates that.

You could try a memory card reader.
I use the Sandisk ImageMate SM/CF reader, and it works great :D

I have run into a problem with PM if you setup your HD
with the vendor HD format/partition utility.

PM complains about a Disk Manager present, and gives an stop error
That is as far as you get.
PM works fine if you use FDISK though.

Ghost does not have this problem.
Thats why I use it.
