How to connect my dsl after install my router

Hi,

I am Sydney. I just got my first router di-604
yesterday.I'd like to install and i can follow the
step easily. The problem came when i want to connect
my dsl ameritech. It won't work ( not connected ). I
ceck my dsl by return to my normal dsl cable
position
and it worked.So, i try again following installation
for dlink ( all cable also ) but it still won't
worked.Could you please help me, what is happening.

i talked to dsl and they say no problem in
connection,
i agree and probably this is somthing wrong with
router ( instalation,etc )

I am wondering wheter you guys can help me about this problem. Awaiting your reply.Thank you very much.

Did you follow the directions for the router...can you log onto the web admin page? Did you enter the necessary information, if needed, for PPPoE on the router?

hi,thank you for reply.Yes i follow the set up instruction but i choose dynamics configuration which detect the ip automatically. When i want to connect my dsl it doesn't worked so i don't know why do you know about that..thanks...

I do clone the mac in admin pannel as instructed but still when i want to connect my dsl, it wont work. Any idea?
