Quick Question!!

Okay...........First venture into digital photog. New camera arriving today via UPS. Got a Kodak DX3600 w/8 Megs internal mem. but it has expansion slot for compact flash. I know you plug camera into puter with included USB wire to download pics from camera memory, but does it also download from compact flash card or am I gonna have to purchase a card reader for that? Camera has internal mech. for formatting the card. After downloading pics, do you format the card to clear it, then start fresh taking more pics?

I know this info will prob. be in the accompanying brochure but wanted to ask someone here, cause you guys always seem to know more than what the book tells you. Thanx -- Binks

the camera should read the card with no problems. I use my Olympus 3020z to read my smart media cards with no problems even if the files are not photos, windows still can read the data on the card from the camera.
